British Columbia’s logging industry has pushed itself to the brink by over-logging. The province has become a sea of clearcuts, many of which were once critical ecosystems including wet old growth forest. Now, amidst increased drying and wildfires, the province’s last old growth forests, parks and protected areas are being threatened by industrial interests under the guise of wildfire mitigation.
